Grinding Gear Games has released a trailer of the first major content update for Path of Exile titled "Sacrifice of the Vaal".

The final battle is designed for high-level characters only. There will be new secret areas, items, bosses and PvP-modes. This free add-on will be released on March 5, 2014.
