Bohemia Interactive released an alpha version of DayZ Standalone at Steam Early Access. The game requires testing so don't expect it to be a completely finished product.

DayZ Standalone is a game based on a hugely popular mod to Arma 2. This is an early alpha release that will be followed by another beta-test and then finally we will see the release of a full tried and tested DayZ game.
A final worldwide commercial release of DayZ is not set yet. Different release stages consisting of alpha and beta versions will allow gamers to participate in the development of the game by testing it and reporting bugs.
